I have not been great with gifting something amazing to my husband on Father's day these last few years. How do you find a gift that really says "You are an amazing Dad to our boys, I'm lucky to have you as my partner, and I love parenting with you"? So when I asked him last year what he wanted for Fathers Day he simply said, "Take me out, just do stuff with me". We took him on a day-long movie marathon at our local theater (with brand new luxe recliners) and took him out for lunch and dinner in between movies- it was epic! So this year we decided to repeat the tradition of skipping the gifts and taking him out to do whatever he wants to do. Interested in gifting memories instead of (insert generic gift dads usually get here)? This weekend there are several activities and events in the area to honor the Dad in the life of your child.

- Fathers Day Celebration at the Wave Waterpark- Free admission for Dads on 6/17
- Hoppy Fathers Day at Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens in Escondido on 6/17. Specialty food and beer menu event, family friendly venue.
