It's been a couple of weeks in for summer break, you hanging in there? Are the kids or grandkids driving you absolutely nuts or are you just loving the chaos that is having the kids at home? Or are you driving all over North County for Summer Camps? I work from home, a privilege I am grateful for DAILY, but I do have to barter quality time with my son every day just to get anything productive done, "If you let me work in peace til lunchtime, I promise we will go here or do this after." It has been working great so far -not a perfect system, but what is right? I get my very needed work done and we create summer memories as a result. Luckily there are plenty of things on the local family fun calendar for us to do together. This following week consider including these activities in your family fun agenda:
Friday, June 29th- Kids Day at the San Diego County Fair, Del Mar
Friday, June 29th- Lego Madness, Vista
Saturday, June 30th- Mini Music Fest, San Marcos
Monday, July 2nd-Michaels Camp Creativity: Under the Stars, Vista
Tuesday, July 3rd- $1 Movies at Edwards Theaters: The Lego Movie or Alvin and the Chipmunks, San Marcos (also on Wednesday)
